Winter Farmers Markets in Seattle |
Seattle’s Farmers Market shoppers won’t have to wait until next spring to buy fresh local farm products from Washington state farmers. Beginning December 31st, Winter Farmers Markets are being organized at two of Seattle best Farmers Market locations, and visitors won’t be disappointed.
The U-District Winter Farmers Market will take place every Saturday from December 31 through February 25, with hours from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You can expect to see local fresh greens, potatoes, root vegetables, apples, squash, eggs, cider, mushrooms, cheese, pasture raised meats, fish, shellfish, preserves, honey, and baked goods all available! It will be located outdoors on the asphalt playfield at University Heights Center on the corner of University Way NE and NE 50th.
The West Seattle Winter Farmers Market will be held every Sunday from January 8 through February 26, with hours from 10 a.m. to noon. The West Seattle Winter Market expects to have local produce, greens, potatoes, root vegetables, apples, squash, eggs, cider, mushrooms, cheese, pasture raised meats, fish, preserves, honey, and baked goods. It will be located outdoors in the Alaska Junction on the corner of California and Alaska in the parking lot behind Key Bank.
