Bedtime for children should be a blissful transition from an active day to sweet dreams. It can also be a unique period to instill positive messages as young minds drift off to sleep. Joy Stories, makers of soothing bedtime audio stories, add two new titles to their award-winning library of original and delightful tales. Geared to boys and girls ages three to nine, two new Joy Stories audio titles will please parents as well as sleepyheads. These soothing tapes can be played in the car, at naptime, or at the end of an active day. All six current Joy Story titles are packaged with a plush finger puppet in a reusable pouch. Lucky Goes to the Hospital is a tale of a newborn squirrel who falls from his tree and is rescued by eight-year-old Lauren. Children can relate to Lucky’s woes as he endures shots and a hospital stay to restore his health. Many lessons are learned, including that hospital care and doctor visits are essential to good health for animals and people. Koda’s New Neighborhood spotlights a white cat named Koda who moves with his family and must make new friends and discover and accept differences in his new community. One of many lessons learned in this tale is that over time, change can be positive. Other bedtime titles include Buddy and Buster and Under the Lily Pad. Both Samantha and Starlight and Believe in Yourself, are available in English and in Spanish. Through speaking events, Joy Frost teaches parents how they can change their child’s behaviors. If you are interested in scheduling a speaking event for your store, school, hospital, local community, or support group, please email Joy.
