Play Book for the youngest crowd (1-1/2-year-olds), is a small wooden booklet with an attached figure that can fit onto any one of the pages. This booklet is very transportable and provides itself as a book and a puzzle. With all the pieces attached, your toddler can safely carry this puzzle around, fearing no loss of any precious part. Great for travel! The Discovery Puzzle, also for this age group, is a six or seven puzzle toy, with a related picture underneath the piece that was removed. These are great for coordination skills and story-telling. Memo Fantasy, is not only a beautifully crafted game, but it has great variety and I would safely call it transportable. A memory game for two-year-olds and older, this game provides four different plates offering a variety of backgrounds, keeping the game interesting from day to day. Chelona even includes blank plates, allowing you to create your own memory game. The pieces provided are chunky and friendly. The Pocket Puzzle is a wooden packet tied with a red cord, and turns out to be a more demanding game that requires some patience. The principle is familiar: nine cards to be arranged in a square so the outlines match the edges. One of the wooden squares has an elastic band that holds the whole set together to prevent any pieces from being lost. This is a great travel game and a lot harder than we all thought! Save the Pocket Puzzle for your older child (five and up). You can find all of these Chelona toys online. Don't forget to let them know you learned about these toys from Northwest Baby & Child! |
